This review is for Little Hanoi Diamond which we got shifted to because Hanoi Blue Sky ran out of rooms. Cheapest rooms in LHD were actually 20USD, but since we got shifted from HBS, we paid HBS's rate of 15USD only. Room was big, clean and luxurious. Staff were friendly with no language barrier and did not pressure us into buying their tour packages at all. Buffet breakfast was amazing. Location wasn't too bad. Overall a pleasant experience.
We arrived at 5a.m. And could stay in the breakfast-room. Then we were offered a free breakfast and could Check-in before the actual Time... They were so friendly there. The room was nice and clean... Everything was perfect!!!
Lady at the front desk told us the room was full and sent us down the road to her "sister hotel," Atlantic Hostel. Lady tried to put us in a tiny room with a double bed though we'd booked twin beds. Told us the price was higher for the twin, but gave us a room with a Queen size bed instead. If we hadn't been soured by this we would have liked the place fine. Guy at the tour desk seemed pushy. Again, this review is for Atlantic, not Blue Sky. I'd try my luck elsewhere.
The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Unfortunately on the first night they had to move us to another hotel because their rooms were overbooked. Not necessarily entirely their fault but it was really inconvenient. Wifi was slow at night. Apart from that everything was great.
Hanoi Blue Sky were accommodating to three of us. When we arrived in the early hours, our room was not ready, but they offered to look after our luggage and offered us to use their showering facilities. The luggage was left at the back of the hotel with no lock, but under the watchful eye of the staff. Rooms were very tidy and exactly what we needed. We enjoyed our stay at Hanoi Blue Sky enough to book another night with them after we returned from our Ha Long Bay tour.
Enjoyed our stay, location is pretty good, lots of shops nearby. The hotel offers many tours. However the room we booked for the first night was not available as the people already in the room asked to stay an extra night in our booked room, which the hotel agreed to. So we had to stay in a different room for the first night in sky blue hotel 2 which was down the road. Apart from that the stay was great and the staff at the second hotel reception very helpful!
Great staff. Helped us with everything we needed. Personal attention. Fine breakfast free coffee tea end fruit. We loved our stay here very much!
The rooms are great and the people are very friendly. We booked all our tours aswell and we had a perfect time. They try to help you any way they can.
Really good value for money, in a great location. Staff were super helpful! Only slight downside was it wasn't great for meeting other backpackers, but hardly the place's fault

Booked with Hanoi Blue Sky Hotel, when we arrived we were told that our room had been allocated to someone else and that we must move to their 2nd Hostel (Blue Sky Hotel 2), even after the mix up they tried to overcharge us for the rooms. In Hotel 2 the facilities were nice, some of the staff were helpful, breakfast was very poor as all the food had gone by 9:15 even though it was 7-10. Beds were comfy and clean, showers were good, wifi was intermittent. Comfortable stay but not what we booked.
