Fantastic fantastic place! Great location in the old quarter. The rooms are clean comfortable and a great size. The best thing however has to be the staff, so helpful, and happy and just lovely. After an exhausting journey they lifted my spirits. They remembered my name and made me feel so at home. Highly recommend this place.

The staff were very friendly and helpful with anything that we needed. We stayed longer with them than we had originally booked, but they were very helpful with booking us in the next-door hostel (with the cheaper price that we would have paid at their own) until we could check back in with them. They also helped us make sure that our motorbike was picked up at 7am from the nearby parking area so we didn't have to wake up too early to get it.

I really liked the Hanoi Lucky Guesthouse during my stay in Hanoi..I stayed 2 nights and I can say that it was the friendliest staff I've seen here in Vietnam. Helping me out where they could. The Rooms are clean and in a good Condition. The Location at the Old Quarter in Hanoi is close to all Tourist Attractions. And all this for just 15$. Also the Hoa Lu Tam Coc Tour which I booked here was great, good Tour guide as well. So I really can recomment this Hostel for everybody wanna stay in Hanoi.

Great location and very clean rooms. The staff are very helpful & organized good motorbikes for our trip to Sapa. When the train company made a mistake about our sleeper train back to Hanoi (we had to change trains because the booked train couldnt carry motorbikes) the hostel refunded the fees we had to pay to change the ticket. Seems like they genuinely want to make your stay very enjoyable. Highly recommendable.

The hostel was very nice. Especially the staff will do anything to make you feel at home! If you need something to be arranged they will do it without any extra charge. We stayed in a double bedroom ensuite and it was very spacious! The breakfast in the morning is nice (and you get one even if you don't wake up before noon!)

A very warm welcome from the staff on arrival. They carried our bags to the fourth floor for us. They were keen to show us the map of the Old Quarter and where to go for food, and shopping etc. We booked two tours through them for the perfume pagoda and Halong Bay (2D/1N)($100). Both were professionally run with guides who spoke excellent english. The food on the Halong Bay trip was plentiful. The room was clean and comfortable with a balcony. Good Location. Breakfast was included (bread & eggs)

We used Hanoi as a base to explore Northern Vietnam and each time we came back to Lucky Guesthouse we felt like we were coming home. We were always greeted with the same warm smile and hospitality. We have grown very fond of Mary and Peter and the rest of the staff. The rooms are immaculate and each night we came back they were cleaned impeccably. We found the rooms cute and cozy. The location was perfect for exploring Hanoi and Old Quarter. We were able to walk everywhere. In Hanoi, stay here!
