Loved this hostel, by far one of the best I have stayed in. Clean rooms with excellent facilities, very reasonably priced. And, 'Uncle' is such a nice person! Really helpful. Enjoyed my stay and would definitely go back.

Although I booked a private room for 2 nights a good 3 weeks in advance, when we arrived we were told he had overbooked our room and we would need to stay in his associate's hostel down the street. This was actually nice because the other hostel was more spacious and slightly more expensive than the one we had originally booked, and we didn't have to pay anymore. However moving hostel to hostel during a tonight stay in Seoul was a bit annoying.

The location is just near the subway exit. Its clean room and clean toilet...great !! We loved that The fasilility inside the double room also great !! Comfort bed, warm flooring, cooler, PC with fast internet connection, and also washing machine, even we never use this one, and also private clean bathroom and toilet. Good for family and people who wanna take a rest after backpack all day long...and prepare for the next journey on the next day

The location is good, its about a 10min walk from the Hongik University area. The location details could be made a little more clearer though. We were lucky because the owner spotted us outside looking a little lost. We booked a twin superior room but felt like it was misleading- it was 2 beds pushed together with little space to walk around in the room. The owner is helpful though and very accomodating but on the whole, we were disappointed with the room.

Very cozy, Uncle was extremely nice to come from elsewhere just to carry our heavy luggage up the stairs on the first day and down the stairs on the last. Really felt like home during our 11 days stay there. Location is good since it is located right in Hongdae, just a few minutes walk from the subway and also the airport bus stop (this is actually nearer & more convenient than the subway if coming from the airport). Very satisfied and nice to have known Uncle!

Uncle is a great host. The hostel is more of a hotel with private rooms great for couples, groups of friends, but maybe not the best for meeting other travelers. It's a bit of a walk from the subway- maybe ten minutes- but very close to the Hongdae area and all it has to offer. My girlfriend and I booked a DMZ tour with Uncle and he ran us down in the cold after we had walked a quarter mile to say the times had changed. Great host and great little place. Will definitely stay here again.

This hostel was really clean and comfortable and the location is good. However, at times, we were the only people in the hostel. One member of staff was there in the morning for a bit and after that, there was nobody there. We had a few questions as we had to stay an extra night due to travel changes, and we had to wait 2 days before we saw a member of staff to ask. While it was a decent hostel to stay in for a few nights in Seoul, there was zero atmostphere.
