Nice hostel, good breakfast. Excellent location, next to the party on tuesdays on the stairs! Bar downstairs is nice aswell.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hostel Cobreu. First of all; The location is perfect, its in the heart of Pelourinho. The hostel was superclean, the breakfast delicious and the staff helpful and friendly! I definitly recommend it!

It's set up great for Tuesday night, party on the steps which is worth while. The owner and staff are very welcoming and very helpful. It lacks a social space, there is a lounge but could do with an outside area, which seem rare in histels in Salvador. Very relax atmosphere and good breakfast.

Right in the heart of the old town, great location, really feels like you are in the centre of things. Can feel a little dodgy at night so be careful, there is a constant police presence. Good breakfast and nice place to meet people. Not all staff spoke english which made things a little more challenging for me but this is a very minor point.

Excellent hostel... and bar ! The staff is really nice and funny. And, 2 computers with internet working. An other (rare) great thing about this hostel : the BIG breakfast included. Only one inconvenient : though there is a kitchen free, it doesn't contain a lot of tools to cook there.

I stayed in Cobreu with a friend 2 times...first time planned, second time after we ran away from Morro di Sao Paolo.. i can only say nice things about the place, if you want to stay at Pelourinho this is the place to be. Hostel is comfy, clean, I loved the colorful opened showers looking to the sky.... and one extra plus for the staff. All so helpful, patient and cool to hang out with. Cobreu, we will see us again! Aida

They have no luggage room and a problem wenn you stay outsode the room longer than 15:00... Choose a different hostel when you head out late and dont want to pay late-checkout
