Everything about this hostel was super. The staff is very friendly and helpful (I actually miss you guys). The hostel itself was great, the balcony upstairs is beautiful and relaxing, and the bar downstairs serves the best drinks and plays good music. Not to mention the breakfast.. Makes you want to get up early. It's a very popular hostel, and if you're looking for a good place to stay, this is it. I stayed there for two weeks and definetly coming back if I ever get the chance :)

A very cosy but really nice hostel. Right in the Pelourinho, the beautiful old town. The free breakfast was an added bonus as well. Friendly and nice staff and cheap (before the WC that is). Would definitely come back and stay here!

Average hostel. No real atmosphere though and would benefit from more informed staff.

Cobreu is great. Very good included breakfast, reliable WiFi, and an unbeatable location in Pelourinho. Tuesday nights are something special, with a great live band performing on the church steps next door. The staff is super & usually welcomes you to hang when they are off the clock. The hostel runs a good bar downstairs as well. Highly recommend if staying in Pelourinho.

Internet was just available near the reception, but not really in common areas like the kitchen or living room. was not really clean, shower's and WC was good though. if you came to around 9:30 for breakfast no eggs. The stuff, was helpfull, in Pelourinho you can have some fun, its ok for 2 nights, but I think there are better options, especially in Barra

Definitely Value for money! the people that work there were great! very helpful and caring. I loved their breakfast ! (eggs, fresh fruit, ham and cheese sandwiches with a little panini grill to warm them up) Only negative thing I have to say about the hostel is that the rooms smell kind of bad (humid) but then again you suck it up for the night. Also, the area of Pelourinho, especially where this hostel is located is known to be a little bit dangerous but nothing too crazy if you are careful.

The best things about this hostel: great location right near pelhourino´s main square,& the bar right nxt door (the guy with the afro is great). Unfotunately there is not much else thats outstadning about this place, breakfast is basic, showers & toilets are average, cockroach on the floor!! staff arent particulary helpful, rooms were so hot! no air con just a fan that didnt move & barely did anything, on our last night the roof started leaking. this hostel is for sale and i think i know why!

Really nice hostel! but you get what you pay for, beds are have really thin matrases and its really noisy. We had a room under the breakfast area, if they clean the floor with water you feel the drops.. for the rest really nice ppl and best location of the town! it's cheap so we didn't mind the bed etc. If you have a problem with that, pay more and sleep somewhere else.

The overall experience at this hostel was good. There were some problems with the electricity some times, but I didn't mind that much about this. The staff was very nice and helpful! The internet had a hard time reaching the relaxing room sometimes, which was a bit sad as this is where you want to sit and relax. The biggest minus for me was that there was a lot, and I mean A LOT, of noise from the street..
