first of all, the location is not in Venice itself, but in a very ghetto neighborhood. staff speaks bad english, wi-fi is not accessible in the room, do not accept card payments, do not have any tourist maps or any useful information.

The hostel's location was perfect, near the mestre station and the bus station to Venezia, it offered good value for money and the staff was helpful. We are recommending it.

We booked this hotel because it was cheap and included free parking and was by the station, but on arrival we were told that there was no parking left. The room was dirty with dead beetles everywhere. Pay twice as much and you can stay in a nice hotel on the island

Pretty average. Kinda dirty (questionable mold?) but would stay again because it is a good value and good location. Improvements needed- lockers in the shared rooms., hooks in the bathrooms.

The best thing is the location! If you plan on going to Venice, book a hostel in Mestre. It's cheaper. Specifically this one is 2 min walking distance from the train station. The staff is really friendly. The conditions are decent for a short stay.

This is absolute budget living. It was perfectly ok for myself and 2 friends who were only spending 1 night. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean, although something needs to be done about the wires not covered up in the bathroom. 2/3 minute walk to the train station where you can get a transfer into Venice.

The location is good - near the Mestre train station. From there we traveled to Venice in 10 minutes by bus no 2. The rooms were OK but very dirty. There is dust all over the room as the room wasn't cleaned in 2 weeks. There was a TV but no channels. The staff were the main strength of the hotel. They allowed us to check-in around 8 am which is great. There was also a receptionist (I think he was Croatian) who drew a simple map we should follow. Much better then a real map. Such a great guy!

Good location if your train goes to Mestre. Not in Venice itself but you can get the bus there easily and the guy on reception was great at explaining everything about how to get to Venice and what to do there. Supermarket just down the road. Free wifi but only works close to reception. No kitchen.

Near Ve. Mestre Station, where all the trains stops, so-so convenient and budget-friendly, silent area. But it maybe hard without A/C in summer. Though with the active vaporetto tickets we can also ride on the buses between Mestre and Venezia main island, but the buses are always clouded. WIthout that agony, Mestre is good place to put inn.

We were going to Venezia and we stay in Mestre because of the crazy prices of the hotels in Venezia. I could recommend to stay in this area, the hotel is not bad but don't expect nothing special, cleanliness is average... a bit noisy. room is big, the staff is friendly. If you don't want to pay ridiculous prices I can recommend it, but for sure you can get something better in the are for a similar price.

Great location at 5min walk from the Mestre train station. Helpful secretary to explain where and when to get the bus to Venice. I recommend staying outside of Venice to avoid the prices, and it's a less than 10min bus to get into Venice.

It was ok, you get what u pay for so don't expect anything fantastic and you'll be fine. We were lucky to get a nice room with one big bed and 2 smaller ones with our own bathroom and TV. Can't vouch for the shared areas since I don't know. Great location very close to the stop Venice Mestre and there was a really great pizza place close by.

The room doesn't worth what they charge, but unfortunatly every place in Venice is expensive too sleep, comparing to other cities. The bathroom is tiny and if you take a shower the whole floor gets wet and dirty. The good part is that it's located close to Venezia Mestre train station (not more then a 5 minute walk), so it was really easy to go to Venice and Padua. I think the best idea was if I had booked a hostel in Padua, probably is cheaper to sleep there and it's still cheap to go to Venice

The location is the only good thing, unfortunately. Staff is friendly but the facilities are lacking maintenance. In my room there was mold in the walls, bathroom door didn't close properly - and it was a mixed room.

precisely what you'd expect for the price really... as others have said it's a good place to stay if you're desperate and need somewhere cheap. bit noisy as there was a dispute between the man from the hotel desk and a family who were staying there... no idea what was shouted but they were obviously unhappy.

It's located close to the Mestre train station so it makes travelling easy. The shower was small and you had to leave the key at the desk each time you checked out. Other than that, it was OK for the price.

The original room we were in, the walls were covered in mould and dirt and there was a very strong smell of damp in the room. And the bathroom the light switch for the mirror had been pressed so hard it had gone deep into the fitting, there was exposed wires in the shower. We asked to switch rooms in the morning which they allowed us. The new room again had mould on the walls wires for the mirror light were all exposed and the light toggle had mould growing on it. Very unsatisfactory.
