If you want to stay in Asakusa, then this is the place. Fantastic location, great friendly staff (although not much English), and overall great facility. It needs to be noted that this is not a hostel and has no backpacker vibe, so meeting other travelers is unlikely, otherwise top marks in every category. Also very easy to get to from the airport via the subway.
Fantastic hostel. Great staff, always friendly and location could not be beat. They even gave us a Christmas present!
Excellent location! Not just for Senso-ji temple but also for shops & two metro stations nearby. The place itself is pretty good atmosphere, not as charming as Homeikan, but Homeikan's location is inconvenient. Staff were extremely helpful (though only one of them spoke decent English, so you'd better know at least a little Japanese), and wifi / internet was good.
The staff were very kind and helpful, the location was pretty convenient as well. I woke up early (around 6 am) to take pictures of Sensoji and the Kaminarimon, and the staff member at the desk was very nice about it. The hotel is very close to the subway stations for the Asakusa, Ginza, and Tobu lines, so it was easy to get to other parts of Tokyo to sightsee as well. I would stay here again.
