Cleanliness is a bit of an issue but cozy and good location.

Great Location. First time in a capsule hotel and it was some of the best sleep i have ever had. Staff was always friendly with information. The only downside to the hotel is that smoking is permitted in the hallways and it seeps into the rooms. That was my one and only draw back. For price, i dont think anything can beat it in Tokyo.

The hostel is well located in the east of Tokyo. Senso-ji temple is just next. However the staff is not so excellent and the women-owner is quiet rude sometimes (she opens your curtain at 8am without knocking the door for example and does not let you enter the common room before check-in in the same day or ask you to go out in a unpleasant way...). Their english is very poor and they have no tips to share with you. Each question turns to a manner to make more money.

The check-out is 10:00, the earliest I have ever seen in Hostel especially since the check-in time is 3:30. I felt like the two ladies were very kind but the old man was grumpy. If you have never been to Tokyo most stuff happens in West central Toyko...

The woman at the front desk is really nice. The capsules were bigger than I thought, and the location can"t be beat. The showers were clean enough, but the bathroom (women's) could use some work. The capsules weren't dirty, but were old and some of the electronics inside didn't work. but, for the price, this place is fine.

It was kinda old and small, but the surrounding was decent (next to a tourist spot). The staff was really nice, friendly and helpful.

The hostel was initially quite hard to find. Could do with better directions. Although I was not a fan of the unlockable screen door there was 24 reception. It was never an issue having to hand in keys and receiving keys, if anything it was good practice to say ohayo (good morning) and arigato (thank you). Location is great, nice places to eat all around. We were luck that on our second and third nights there were a collection of Americans French and English but our first night was very quiet.

It\'s in a really good part of town for tourists and the staff are pretty friendly. 10:00 AM checkout is a little early in my opinion and they come and kick you out of bed right at 10:00 even when the empty is almost completely empty except you. Can\'t imagine why, but oh well. Free Internet usage on two computers downstairs. Great value for the price, I think

You get a great deal for what you pay. The facilities are rather old, but clean, comfortable, and incredibly conveniently located. Capsules are in shared dorms with shared bathing (lockable door to bathe privately) and a locker to store valuables, but guests usually are very quiet and respectful (there's a common room for noisy chat, etc.). The hospitality of the staff can't be beat; if you linger, you may find a sweet little old lady bringing you tea or a light snack.

I've been to Japan 3 times now and this was probably one of my favourite hotels that i've stayed in. everything was easily accessible, it was peaceful and very comfortable. it was also my first time in a capsule styled room and i eventually got so comfortable that i wanted to take one home to have back in australia.

its cheap. the capsule itself is well, a capsule. we get a free locker. but thats about it. The location is pretty good, very close to metro exit. Asakusa has a temple nearby worth visiting.

This hotel was old and the cleanliness wasn't it's strenght. It is not too expensive and well located in Asakusa. It is very calm. And the 3 members of the staff are gentle. It was ok, but not a memorable experience.

Very excellent Hostel. I still like the idea of sleeping in a capsula and when you are in Japan you have to try it at least once. The staff of the hostl was very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for value for money that's the place to stay in Tokyo.

Interesting capsule experience, just a bit dirty, good location though, staff were nice enough about us checking out late

Bottom line, as a place to sleep and spend no considerable amount of time in, it delivers at a great price. It's a bit run down, so there's a feeling of dirt that just won't wash away, but the bedding and bathrooms are kept pretty clean, so it's ok. The common space also doesn't really facilitate conversation, so don't expect to meet friends here. Two problems for me were the limited number of working outlets and that you must leave your locker key at reception and don't need ID to get it back.

In my capsule, there were exposed wires where the TV should be plugged in; these could potentially be live if the TV button on the console was switched on, risking electrocution. The toilets always had a pungent odour. Shower facilities appeared limited for the number of guests. The need to return the key each time one leaves the premises appeared overcautious considering the key only opened the locker inside the room - perhaps consider changing the lockers to a bring-your-own-lock system.

Good value and a great location. The capsule is very cosy and comfortable. Make sure you book in advance though. It costs more than double if you just turn up.

I was expecting this hotel to be beyond poor. But it wasn' too bad at all. The heating was so hot I had to turn it down, I thought there wouldn' be heating at all. Capsules were warm, bed was ok, private. Little outdated, had a old smell to them. You get your own locker to use. The toilets look like something out of silent hill, but dont smell and are actually clean, just the tiling is old. There is one private shower, a communal shower and public toilets, but time it right and it will be fine.
