The staff are super friendly and helpful. The room is small but very acceptable. We enjoyed the self-made breakfast although the kitchen hygiene could be better.
This was a really nice place to stay. The only downsides were that the rooms were quite small and there's not much going on in the common room, which you have to walk outside to get to. The staff were very helpful, the room was comfy and there were a lot of English channels or at least channels showing American TV/movies. I would stay here again.
Great place to stay right near everything, but quiet. Rooms are small, buy very clean and cheery. They tell you at checkin (and there are signs posted) that there will be breakfast in the common room - BE SURE TO ASK WHERE IT IS! In the morning there was no staff at the desk - I checked all four floors and opened every door that wasn't a guest room, but no breakfast.

4 of us stayed together in a 4 person dorm. It should have been a two person dorm the room was so tiny. The main door into the Hostel was never locked, even during the night which disturbed me a little bit, but there always seemed to be a guy in the little window in the "lobby". Other than that, the unlimited water bottles, the shampoo, the flat screen tv and hundreds of stations, and an excellent position in the city makes the hostel worth the very, very low price.
Such a nice place to stay for the weekend. SO close to the subway line (although the alley could have been easy to miss!), really nice and helpful staff, very clean rooms. Really good value for the money spent, and close to all the sights of Insadong.
