Second time here - just as good as the first time. Very helpful staff (especially Sally). Good area, not too far from the subway and great bar on the top floor.

eThe hostel was in a great location for sightseeing and generally geting around the city. The rooms were warm and clean, and were cleaned every day. Very good value for money. Most the staff were very friendly and helpful, particularly the lady who organises the tours at the hostel. Food was also nic there.

We enjoy our stay there every time but I just have one complaint and that is the beds are sooooooo hard. It is like sleeping on the floor.

Very good hostel, clean, nice, staff very helpfull. The only thing, the water too cold for the winter. Bur for a traveller, very good location, because the hostel is near Tiananmen, Forbidden city and the old Beijing, and subway just 5 min. of walking. Very, very good.

Although it says 'hostel', this is actually a Chinese hotel-cum-hostel. As a result, it doesn't quite have that 'hostel' vibe, so don't expect any mad partying. On the plus side, it has good sized rooms and comfy beds. Staff speak good English and are helpful when pushed - a typical Beijing trait I think! Really good location and good value for money. The tiny 'communication area' on GF should definitely be open later than 10pm though!

I had a great time there. The food in both restaurants (Western and Chinese) was just perfect. The background music in the rooftop restaurant was outstanding. I had no problems with hot water in the shower. It was hot every time I needed hot water. The heater in the room worked properly. The room was cleaned once a day. The hotel is a very short walking distance from the main sites around. However, it was absurdly smoky. The dozens of 'No smoking' signs all around are just ignored. Great staff.

So my friend and I didn't actually get a chance to stay in the hostel, but we went there on the wrong day and the staff was amazingly helpful and friendly, even though we were not even their customers at the time! The environment looked cool but a little more on the relaxed side. Perhaps not the best place for a party but definitely a nice place for a good experience or a chill time. There was also a really cool fish tank! The hostel was really close to Tiananmen Square.

KingsJoy Hostel Strategic Location in heart of Beijing. You can go to many good attractions only by walking. This hostel is part of KingsJoy Hotel, so you will get hotel facilities with hostel price! The bar at the top level is so fuckin nice, you can see many historic buildings at Tiananmen square at the top. There are many cafes and restos near hostel area. Also ,Qianmenn market by 5minutes walking you can meet the cheap and good quality souvenir. -DragonWinter, Indonesia-

This Hostel was totally awesome!!... I never expected to find a hostel that has those huge and nice facilities and the best, for that price!.. I will totally recomend it. For sure. The view from the restaurant at the 6th floor is very nice. Also is close for the main atractions, just 5 min walking to Tiannamen Sq and Forbidden City. They also book tours for the great wall very easy. Is cool!!

Very good location and value for money . Front desk staff very friendly . The girl inside the business center room provide very good service and helpful information . Bath room can not provide hot water consistently which give us some difficulty especially winter time . The most i want to complaint is 6th floor Bar , although the environment is not bad , but the guy is very very not friendly ,

The waiter at the 6th storey bar not frendly, whenever we order additional beer, he shown a very reluctant to work attitude. We need to wait for at least 5 to 10min for hot water for shower. During my 8 days stayed, there was one day totally no hot waters . if this can be improved, i can say this is a very value for money hostel.
