Really clean and comfortable place in a great location. Staff were friendly and helpful. Showers were amazing. Would definitely recommend!
For $5 a night (for 7 nights in a month), this hostel is amazing. The dorms are a little narrow but beds are good. There's a games and movie room on the 2nd floor which is nice to hang out in. Free breakfast in the morning is pretty good too.
Cheap dormitory but don't expect more than the price. Good location, good people. I was just surprised by the atmosphere. This is not at an hostel. The dorm where I was was small and not very adapted for backpackers... anyway. good place.
We stayed in both dorm room and private rooms - dorm rooms are narrow but have comfy beds and lockers for your belongings. Private rooms are great but a little pricey for backpackers, but a lot of space and extras included - very nice rooms. Facilities in the hostel are good - travel desk is very handy and the guy at the desk is very helpful and nice and lots of good ideas if you need recommendations for things to do :)
not bad. But everytime I visit the hostel, Cleanliness gets worse and worse. last time I stayed there, a room I slept was smelly. Considering value for mony, it's not that bad choice.
Its a hotel with on each floor 4 series of bunk beds put into a normal hotel room. Which means its a bit tight, the shower/toilet is in a glass shell (with blinding, no lock). You get your own locker. The lock you have to take yourself. Breakfast is a small buffet and is quite nice. There's very limited wifi in the dorm rooms. Game room is nice but has no atmosphere. Okay for couples, less for solo wanting to meet travelers. Staff is usually grumpy. Avoid booking trips at hostel, very expensive.
Its cheap, its clean. Its just a hotel that had some extra space so they stuck dorms in them. If you stay in a dorm you dont get the eggs for breakfast, as advertised. Stay away from the travel desk, its a rip off. The reception staff are only nice when they think they can make some commission from you. Theres an excellent street coffee place across the street that sells coffee with yogurt.
This place offers "hotel" accomadation at hostel prices but, really other than the lobby it's no better (in fact worse) than most hostels. The dorm we had was dank, dark and damp - we left with damp clothes - and they're poorly laid out. The bathroom sucks and doesn't have a lock. The lobby has fast PCs with good internet. Wifi very poor/non-existent in dorm, strong outside and in lobby.
This is very clean hostel. It has shiny tile floor, good and clean mattress and bedsheet. But there is not space to hang clothes to dry. Good breakfast.
Great location. Comfy beds. Free breakfast was good too
Excellent location. Clean room. Staff couldn't be more courteous and helpful. Provided free (and good) map. They gave us recommended routes to take ourselves around the city and helped us book two very good tours, which we needed to juggle dates around with- they were more than happy to sort that out for us too. Perfect for people who have just arrived in Vietnam. Great pool and movie room for meeting other travellers also. Would highly recommend. Breakfast could be better, but free, so fine.
Great hostel for the price in a great location. Dorms were clean and comfortable. Movie/games room great after a long day exploring.
Amazing as usual - been here since nearly 2 years ago and the place is still impressive. have no desire to try any other hostel... other than the fact that they still make you buy a lock to lock your things.
Great location in old quarter, you pay for what you get and the private room was exactly that, no frills but a standard private room. Breakfast was slightly appalling, however, there is plenty of fantastic food on your door step. Word of warning, they have a tour agency located in the lobby, my partner and I wanted to organise a trip to Halong Bay, they were VERY friendly and provided us with a price DOUBLE what we were offered on the street by a local agency. Felt wary of them after this.

My dad and I stayed in a twin room and found it to be clean and well equipped. The location was perfect for us and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a great introduction to hostels for my dad who was previously a little unsure.
A great hotel right in the heart of the old quarter. The dorm room was clean and had a locker for each bed (padlock not included). with the buffet breakfast it was excellent value for money. The staff were extremely helpful, arranging our tour of halong bay and organising our trains to sapa. They looked after our bags on the tours and offered us showers on our return, and made sure we got a taxi to the train station on our departure. A great stay!
Really great hostel! Would recommend to anyone. Ultra modern facilities and a great atmosphere. Definitely the cleanest hostel I've ever stayed in.
