It wasn't as nice the second time I stayed there. A little more dirty. My bed had dirt on it and a hair. But they switched out my sheets as soon as I said something. This place is really nice. Great location, great value. Definitely worth staying at. And the common area is great.
The hostel was very clean and the rooms were big and modern, it was by far the nicest hostel we stayed in and that's saying something in Vietnam! It's a great place to go and relax but it's definitely not a party hostel and though we met people there that was more by chance than through anything facilitated by the hostel. Staff were friendly but were the least helpful that we'd come across I.e. where to eat, what to see. They also had a free buffet breakfast which was a major bonus!
For $5 per night, it's a great deal. Very clean. Wifi doesn't work so well in the dorm rooms, and having just the one shower per dorm room is super inconvenient. The location is great for backpacker-style nightlife since it's right on "beer street" but not so great for the cafe kind of crowd.
This place was great. Worth more than the 5 bucks for the dorm. It was more of a hotel than a hostel. The location is great. Close to food and the park. Worth every penny.
