1 - The Stuff does not speak English at all. 2 - It smells bad everywhere. 3 - The WiFi is very poor.

Everything is good, I like this hostel. The staffs are efficient and kind enough. Atmosphere is average because my roommates are Chinese domestic travellers who don't speak anything with us, at least they are not noisy/making problems. The main problem is it would be nice if you provide small mat in bathroom, so the floor wouldn't be wet and slippery after you take shower.

Good staff, excellent bed and showersshowers. Close to The bund and nice lobby. A bit ran down on The common áreas but rooms were clean and overall ok.

This hostel, like many other yha and youth hostels association hostels, if full of students, interns, working professionals. The atmosphere is not as lively as a backpacker hostel. Staff is totally unaware of Shanghai major attractions, only one girl on the reception was helpful. No toilet paper you need wrap some in you hand and go. Not the best stay but again worth the money. Location is good, internet is not, hostel is clean although there are garbage cans which smell up the place.....

Excellent location, just few steps away from Nanjing Donglu and all the shops and restaurants. Also 15 minutes walk to the People's Sq and the same to the Bund. The location is really incredible! Staff is very helpful. I stayed in a dorm and found it to be too small for so many beds. In my 6-bed dorm there usually would be 4 beds and not 6. There was no space and felt crowded. Aside from that, bed was very comfortable and everything was clean.

The dorm room was quite small, but the beds were comfortable and the lockers were large. The bathrooms outside the room had a very strong unpleasant smell that was slightly improved after cleaning in the morning. The entrance had pleasant couches and tables but was very cold so not a good place to spend time. However, the location of the hostel was outstanding in relation to the Bund, Peoples Park, eating options, and the subway.

The place from this hostel is great: in the middle of the city center of Shanghai and East Nanjing Road is just one street behind. The subway is also close by and can take to easy to another part of the city center. Beds are okay. WiFi in the room didn't work.

This hostel is in a great location! It is literally a 2 minute walk to Nanjing Road, and maybe 15 minutes to The Bund. The only real complaint that I have is that it was hard to get wifi anywhere on the 3rd floor. This wasn't too much of a problem though, since there are lounges on the other floors that you can go to if you need to use the wifi.

The location is great but the staff is unfriendly and not very helpful. During our stay there was a very bad smell in the hostel. The room cleanliness was not very good, the trash bin in the toilets was full when we arrived and they only emptied it after two days.

Great location, only three minutes walk from downtown East Nanjing subway station, Double room basic but comfy and very clean. Be warned, the walls are very thin. Front of house staff friendly. Beer reasonably priced. Overall very good value for money

One of the best hostel I have come across in China. Location is excellent and there is easy access to transport and food. The room is very clean and all the facilities are well maintained. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my stay in the hostel very much.

The room we stayed in (deluxe double with ensuite) was lovely, very clean and spacious. However, be warned that despite the room being more boutique hotel, the hostel still doesn't provide any toiletries for this room. Also, although most of the staff in the hostel were absolutely lovely, the guy who was working at reception when we arrived left a very bad first impression as he was pretty unfriendly. But the hostel itself is well located and clean and the other staff were great.

This hostel was ok but the staff on reception had disgusting customer service skills. The service was appalling and the cleaners take over the common areas all day to sit and watch Chinese soaps. Was very disappointed
