it was nice

really nice place for overnighting in Hongdae or visiting Seoul. Very convenient location for going out in Hongdae/catching the bus or subway! Only strange thing was, they didn't have keys in the lockers and we had to ask for a key to our room (we were 4 friends staying in a 4 bed dorm) to lock up when we went out. Also, when we came back at night, they had a huge number of people on the floor in the living room (seemed to be a travelling family, with a bunch of kids, just sleeping out there)

It was very nice! Mr kim fulfill all our requirements and the staff and himself was very friendly and helpful..

This hostel is great. I get to meet alot of people from all over the world. Thank Mr. KIM!

Mr. Kims guest house was a nice place to stay at and we will definately be back.

good location and convenient for metro transport. staff were friendly and helpful, good common room, shared bathrooms are ok. it's a good deal for anyone entirely unpretentious, otherwise you will find it a bit basic. some staff extremely helpful and fun to hang out with. seems to attract friendly clientele too. a good experience for me.

Cool place, very laid back.. Can be a bit loud at night, but they are very accommodating. The staff was incredible. Each floor has one bathroom and it can get busy.

Its ni e ot hear when you ask the reception guy what is nice to do in the city and he tell you "I dont know". Maybe this street is nice. it cheap and dont expect fancy stuff, cause there isnt much character or atmosphere in the place.

The security is good, but staff not always there. I left the guesthouse without say goodbye to the staff. The price is fair. We're just need place to sleep and take a bath, because there are so many places to see in seoul.

Nice hostel with a really good location near Hongdae's many bars and cafe's. I would stay here again :)

Leave your shoes at the door. The hostel is, like others have said, very hospitable and welcoming. Stay here, it's quality. For some reason the main floor bathroom reeked.. as does a lot of Seoul, so maybe it's part of the experience.

Even though there is not much interaction with Mr Kim, we enjoy the comfort of the room. The house is warm even in winter, which is a rarity as compared to some of the other guest houses we have stayed in. Recommended.

Best hostel in Seoul. Friendly staff. Clean environment. Owner was friendly and gave my wife and I a free upgrade to a private room. They have nice facilities.

Everything about my stay was great. Mr. Kim is such a nice property owner, and he employs excellent staff. The vibe in Mr. Kim's Friends Guest House was always excellent because everyone that works there is friendly and easy-going. I enjoyed the movie nights and the BBQ. I felt at home, and was sad to leave after 10 days of stay. I'll definitively stay at Mr. Kim's if I'm ever back in Seoul.

第一次来首尔的我很幸运的开始就是找到对的地方住，这里给我的感觉很简单，就是地方很干净不吵，一切的用具都很好，地点也相当方便...very happy stay in this place....very nice...^~^

Santa Cross Mr kim is so amazing! Korean people are so cool! we had fun during these 2 days, WIFI is good, Warm and friendly atmosphere! Thanks again we will come back for sure :)
