Rooms are really clean and the family take really good care of your. We almost woke up late for our tour but got a nice morning call from the staff. They even made our breakfast to go. The morning pancake with assortment of fruits and jams was a simple delight. Will be back!

The staff were really nice. Talk to them and get to know them! Especially Hae(?) is a super nice girl who is super helpful and she will answer all your questions about traveling in Saigon. Also, the prices of the tours from the hostel are reasonable. I walked up and down the main backpacker street and their prices were usually better than the bloated prices of other travel agencies. The room was very clean and the lockers spacious. (I

Very nice place to stay. The staff is so nice and always ready to answer any qestion. Nice rooms also. The only thing it's missing is hooks in the bathroom to hang some stuff. Very convenient also to be able to book tours and buses directly at the hostel, even if the price is higher than in travel agencies. Same thing for the airport pick-up.

Slept for 4 nights in the mixed dorm(8persons). The family which runs the hostel is very nice and helpful. Very easy to meet people in the hostel and the location is perfect, right in the middle of the backpackers district( 1 ).

The awesome staff make this place. Family run, and they are REAL people. What I mean is I have been to some other "backpacker" places, and they could care less about you. The family here is legit, and are good hearted people.

Clean rooms and efficient staff! Really welcoming and helpful, they can organise tours with reputable companies at a good price. The location is excellent, located on an alley off the main backpacker road, close enough to enjoy it but quiet to sleep. Brilliant breakfasts are thrown in with the price! I would definitely stay there the next time I visit Saigon.

The hostel was very well-run and everyone worked as a team. The people running the hostel took a lot of initiative in helping us book our train tickets and giving us information about getting around the city. We booked a 4-man dorm room, which was spacious and had a surprisingly high ceiling. I would definitely recommend the Vietnamese noodle soup for breakfast!

Stayed here for 2 nights here ($8 per night) last weekend and had a great time! It's very close to anything! Kudos to the staff - they're really really helpful. They even volunteered to send my postcard to the US for me... Their breakfast - it was pretty good too. You can also book your tours through them easily. Would highly recommend this!

The staff were very helpful most of the time, though they snapped a bit. There isn't much of a social area but that seems to be the problem with all hostels in Saigon. The 8 bed dorm was okay, clean, with a decent (day rucksack) size locker. The bathroom and sink were outside which was odd, and the sun was too hot and bright to stand and brush my teeth in the morning. They also only have the A/C on 9pm - 9am. Tours/buses are cheap and good from here though, and breakfast was good.

Ngoc Thao Guesthouse is a very nice place to stay! I stayed in a dormroom for 4 nights, the room was very clean, breakfast was good and the ladies from the staff are very kind! At the guesthouse you could also book the tours in Saigon (Cu Chi tunnels, Mekong-delta) for good prices.
