Great little hostel, just down an alley from the main backpacker area of town. Very clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Just down the street from the best pho I have ever eaten!

Very helpful and friendly. Helped us organise our trips and even woke us up when we slept in. Would highly recommend staying here.

Great hostel. My only gripe, and this was pretty important to me, is that there isn't really a common area. Or rather there is, but the family (kids, grandmother, baby) are always there watching TV, working, or even sleeping. This meant that travelers never hung out there. As a solo traveler I like to meet people to travel with and the common area is the best place to do it. I've never had problems meeting others except at this hostel.

Great hospitality and genuinely friendly (not in your face). They allowed us to check in quietly at 4am as our train got in early, and we paid half a night's rate. Nice social area and free use of computers. Free tea and coffee was a bonus..Located in a backpacker area with lots of cafes and tours shops nearby (try Delta or Sinh Tourist for Mekong tours). Beds are very comfy. Only negative is we think the beds were hosting bed bugs (4th floor dorm) - we noticed quite a few bites on our legs.

Everything was great at the hostel. great value for money. However a central area say a breakfast area for travellers to mingle would have been nice.

Great place to stay in the middle of backpacker's ghetto. The hostel was very clean and the staff was really great about answering all your questions. They would really make an effort to provide you with accurate advice. One afternoon I needed to find the Saigon Lunch Lady and they made sure that I got the right directions to get there.

The place is very nice, well located and you can do almost everything walking. If you don't want to walk, taxis/buses are easy. The girls owners are nice and helpfull. Would stay again for sure.

The friendliest hostel staff I ever met, Mrs Ngoc and her sisters and her little baby. They will help you about itinerary, excellent tour and transportation booking, and lot of information about Saigon with good English. They will give you the best things. Maybe one thing that didn't work was the wi-fi didn't work well in my 1st level room, but I didn't mind that. The wi-fi worked smoothly at their warm-common room. When you go to Saigon, be sure you will stay at Ngoc Thao Guesthouse.

Staff were excellent, made you feel very at home. Good location, near a lot of restaurants/bars and walking distance from most city sites, though at first potentially hard to find due to alley (if you didn't know where you were going). Very well priced, good facilities.

The staff was quite decent and helpful.I was allowed to use the kitchen and prepare egg omellette and vegetable fried rice for myself,on paying some reasonable sum. The location is excellent.Nearby, there's a Pakistani restaurant serving Indian food.I felt good, being there.
