Very clean, helpful staff, good location, nice breakfast - the best you can get for the price. You can book the tours and bus tickets from them directly. Overall experience is extremely positive.

Extremely Helpful, friendly and knowledgeable! They helped me book flights, find tours, get around town. They know all the best places. NgocThao Penthouse will help you get a taxi for the right price! The location is safe, quiet and within walking distance to many sights, bars and a huge market. Breakfast options available with an accommodating time frame. Internet available, social environment in lobby especially during breakfast; makes a great way to meet people if you like. Can't say enough!

would like to add 10 points to "Staff". They were super helpful and accomodating, with great advice and instant responses to every question and concern(of which there were none with the hostel)

It's a cute little hostel but I think it's dorm let's it down as it is too expensive for what you get. The bathroom was not particularly clean and you are only permitted to have use of the air con from 9pm till 9am and they turn it on/off, I understand why but sometimes you return to your room during the day and you just want to cool down for 10 mins. Cute but not really great value for the independent traveler, you can get a nice private for cheaper else where!

Excellent! ^_^ Good staff, they go out of their way to make you feel comfortable. When we arrived, we didn't have any room so they let us stay at their sister's guesthouse, but later transferred us back to Ngoc Thao. I love their free breakfast. They give you so many options like french bread with fried eggs, Vietnamese pancakes, and Vietnamese noodles. They even offer free fruits for dessert like pineapple, watermelon, and banana. Offers good CuChi tours. Excellent customer service and clean.

The staff here are absolutely gorgeous and so willing to help. Great location, right in the thick of things but down an alley so it's dead quite at night. would definitely stay here again.

Ngoc Thao was a great place to stay. The staff there are super friendly & helpful. We booked all of our trips through them for a great price and was so easy even when we wanted to change our dates of trips. The hostel was amazingly clean & brand new and the breakfast was a great addition. The location was great walking distance to all attractions, although watch out for thieves in the alley way late at night, had my bag snatched there. Bit more expensive than others but worth it, would go back.

Staff are very attentive and helpful. The room is cozy and clean, also location is good, can get everything you need around. Definitely a pleasant stay!

The owner is just so helpful that we had no problems with our visit in ho chi minh. Wifi inside the room is fast,tour packages is cheaper compare getting to a different travel agents. We will stay again here.

The hostel had a great feel! The hosts emailed confirming our stay and offering to organise a taxi for us - great service from the start. Rooms were clean, the hosts remembered us and our stay dates. They accommodated us for an extra night (we messed up our plans and realised we hadn't booked enough nights. They were friendly and helpful and it reflected in the other guests - everyone was lovely. Clean and cosy, I would definitely recommend to my friends and stay there again.

The staff are exceptionally helpful and are more than willing to help you book train/bus/or tours. The one staff member walked us to a reliable store to buy our train tickets, and they called and booked us on a tour for the next day. Extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast is cooked to order and delicious with fresh fruit. Rooms are large and clean and comfortable. Excellent stay!!

The lovely people who run the hostel could not have been more helpful. Endless calls to get quotes for flights were not a problem. Breakfasts were absolutely delicious. Highly, highly recommended

This hostel was family run with a very friendly atmosphere. Everything was spotlessly clean, beds were comfortable, and the owners were so friendly and helpful! One of my all time favorite hostels, I would recommend it to everyone.

NgocThao GuestHouse was awesome. The owner was quite knowledgeable about the neighbourhood, and recommended some fantastic vegetarian restaurants nearby. The staff also helped me book some really great tours around the CuChi Tunnels and the Mekong Delta. I knew other people who had bad experiences on such trips, but the staff at this hostel chose a great tour group. I really felt like I got a lot out of the money and time spent. Thank you so much!

A very clean. friendly and comfortable place to stay, the staff really make you feel welcome and part of their family. They are always readily found, warm and receptive to your every question and request, and by the time you have to leave you feel like you don't want to anymore...
