An excellent , central hostel with friendly staff , the only thing missing was somewhere like a bench or table to save bending to retrieve everything from the floor , would stay there again .

Perfect location very close to the beach. Attivities all the day every day (they did one quiz and the first prize was a skydiving, best part was that the quiz was for free). V.I.P. nights to Byron Bay's clubs Very friendly staff and really clean hostel. Good place for relaxing and have fun.

We had a really good stay, staff were really fun, but not sure about the unisex bathrooms - not the best. We've been to byron many times before and you can't get any better location than nomads. the atmosphere and hostel activites were awesome!!

Was lucky finding nice room mates. Kind of a young crowd and I felt a bit old sitting downstairs drinking, and I'm 21. Can't fault the place, good security and well run. Maybe wouldn't recommend it, but you won't be let down!

The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. Facilities were clean. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hostel to anyone.

The dorms are rather smelly. The staff were very friendly but I was unimpressed with having to check out and in again 4 hours later when I had booked for 2 consecutive days.

The hostel is in a great location. Definitely a good place to stay if you're looking to meet people, but the average age seems to be early 20s, so depends what you're looking for. We were in 2 different rooms and they were both very clean, however, the hallways are gross - everywhere you look, the carpeting is stained. Also, the common room on the second floor can be really loud, and I wouldn't have been happy if our room was close to it. Staff were friendly.

This is a great hostel if you're looking to party. There are activities every night and a big common room with an outdoor area that includes 2 hot tubs and several picnic tables. The staff are pretty friendly too. My husband and I aren't generally looking to stay in party hostels though, so it's not exactly the kind of place we were hoping for, and wouldn't stay here again. But we agree that it would be great for someone looking to meet a lot of people and do the hostel activities.

It is a good hostel if you are there to party. However, I wouldn't go back as the kitchen unclean the 4 days I was there and as per earlier reviews the hallways and lift really smells.

Very good hostel, more power points in the rooms and free lockers would be a must for the price paid though !

If you like big hostels & partying this is your place, if you don't: STAY AWAY! The beds in our room where not safe... Kitchen (fridges) could be bigger for the number of people in the hostel!

Decent hostel, good people and facilities, however staff didn't seem too interested in guests. Didn't leave a massive impression either way.

I stayed at Nomads for 6 nights and I loved it! The location is great, right next to the beach, albi's, and liquor stores. The staff were very friendly and were always organizing events to keep you busy. Great kitchen and patio to hang out in. The showers and bathrooms were nice and clean and the beds were quite comfortable. Balconys with almost every room were an added bonus. They were also the only hostel I've stayed in that checked ids. Need an id to get in after 10.

My experience was horrible. Some of my stuff was stolen, my door wouldn't close, and it's way too noisy. People would roam the halls at night yelling and singing at the top of there lungs while the security guard/staff are downstairs and does nothing. I'm just glad it was a short stay.

Clean. Big kitchen, although there never seems to be enough space in the fridge... Super nice staff, common areas are great. Many free activities, I recommend the lighthouse walk. Would definitely go back! If you are in a dorm, ask for room 214 (8 beds), it is huge and has a nice balcony.
