Noisy. It was a pretty unremarkable place with a friendly staff. In the room I stayed in,where you might expect a window in the bathroom is a rectangular hole in the wall that leads down to the kitchen, so that at 6:30/7:00 am it sounds like people are making breakfast and washing dishes in your room. In fact, everything that happens in the lobby floats up to the room. Very handy if you have ever dreamed of waking to an Australian amateur balladeer strumming and singing amidst clanking dishes.

Have to give it 100% as I cant fault it, except perhaps that they turn off the aircon early morning time. Great to meet people as the little lobby / common room is always busy in the evenings. Right beside the fun in Bui Vien st, but as it's up an alleyway, it's quiet and you can sleep with ease. Everything there is spotless...... However, shop elsewhere for their tours as theirs are quite expensive in comparison to travel agents.

We arrived in Saigon at 7pm and once we had found the hostel in the little alley, we were being told that our room is not available due to a breakdown. So we were offered a room (at least it was a double bed room instead of the booked 4-bed female dorm) in a guesthouse nearby. Nonetheless, we were supposed to move after one night, which we said we wouldn't do. They generally tend to overbook and make people stay somewhere else.

Maybe it was due to being Christmas time, but there were booking mix-ups upon check-in. I booked a private but all that was available was a dorm bed, which in the end was no problem. One of the nicest features of this hostel is that every guest receives a large private locker and key, which was large enough to fit my entire bag. Management in the morning made up for the mistake by not charging me for the previous nights stay. I would most likely stay at the hostel again.

Great hostel with friendly staff and great rooms. Dorms are made up of only 4 people and thus sharing of showers and toilets is easy. Staff are friendly, and during my stay served me an ice tea whilst I was surfing the internet in then lobby. Su initiative and service is greatly appreciated and I would recommend the hostel to others.

A great hostel. Probably not for those on extremely tight of budgets (unless you like dorms), but on the whole there are no complaints.
