Candy is a lovely staff member, very helpful. Rooms were clean and wifi works. Bar has a nice homely feeling and its great for getting pissed before heading out

you have to pay to use the computer-but wifi is in the common area available. staff was very helpfull and their english is pretty good! the only bad thing is that they didn't clean once the bathroom (lots of hairs everywhere) and the beds are quite shaky - but for the price (30Y) i could recommend it

Great hostel for a very low price. The staff were incredibly helpful with everything, the rooms were clean and the lounge was a nice place to meet other backpackers. Not really that close to the subway station, but if you want to live in a party area you couldn't find a better spot.

The nicest and most helpful staff i have ever found in a hostel! they speak good English and were always willing to help. great selection of music and great cappuccino (and I'm Italian!!). We stayed not in the main building but in the one opposite:rooms clean and nice, but you can work to improve the toilet/bath facilities (not always clean, and a bit old!). And the entrance of the building smells really bad. and maybe provide some shampoo/soap in the rooms!

Really enjoyed this hostel. The hangout areas were nice and full of character. There are books and games, a full menu for food any time of day, and two adorable dogs. The room is clean and the showers were refreshing. Would definitely stay here again.

Staying at this hostel really enhanced my experience of Beijing. The location was superb, and most importantly, easy to find for taxi drivers. Breakfast, dinner and drinks prices were very reasonable. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere felt very homely.

I stayed in Sanlitun for two weeks and had the best time ever! apart from having to walk up and down the stairs countless times the hostel I really enjoyed my stay there. Very good and clean showers, beds in dorms are a bit hard (but it's China) but also very clean and rooms are big. But it's all about people, I spent Christmas there and everyone made me and others feel home, any problem was solved within minutes. I will definitely go back! Thank you!

The daunting feeling of unease of a first timer in China has lifted as soon as I've arrived at the hostel. The inviting lounge room with it's divers community was always something to look for. Besides the steaming food stalls and fantastic local eateries the hostel's versatile menu always provided something continental which made my stay even more comfortable. Extremely helpful and genuinely curious staff. I wouldn't trouble myself looking any further if I was going to return to Beijing.

Probably one of the best hostels especially for the price. Lockers were convenient in each room and the bedding was clean.

My boyfriend and I stayed for around 6 nights in a private room with ensuite in dec. The staff are really friendly and nice. The breakfast and free dinners on some weeknights is also good. We had some issues with getting hot water in our shower and the pressure was bad. But we think this may have been due some maintenance happening on our level and we kinda expected it in hostels anyway. The room was a bit rundown. But the sheets and towels were clean.

Really good place. Rooms and showers are clean. Food at the restaurant downstair is good and quite cheap. The atmosphere is really good. It's nevertheless a little bit far from the subway station but really near from the sanlitun district. It's possible to book train ticket and tours at the front. I did a great wall tour booked with this guesthouse. I appreciated it. The temperature in the common room was good.

The hostel is a little different than I was expecting from the photos. The entrance is on the interior courtyard with a giant parking lot in front. But the common spaces are cozy, the internet was fairly reliable, and the private room was well heated and had all the amenities. It was a very short walk to all the shops, night life, and train you could ask for - one of my favorite spots in Beijing - thank you!

Staff were very nice, very helpful and chatty. Didn't spend too much time in the hostel itself, but the time spent there was comfortable and a nice environment. Good location, once the bus routes have been learnt.
