All the staff are really nice and helpful! They give me very useful advice and suggestion. The dorm rooms are big, clean and comfy, it's the best dorm room I have ever tried! And there's even bathroom inside which is really convenient. I have never left comment for any hostel but I think I should recommend this to everyone coming to Seoul as it is such a good hostel. :D

The staff runs a decent facility. It's clean, it's clean, it's clean. Cleaniness is very important when I chose a place, and Seoul Guesthouse has exceeded the mark. Location is great too and the staff, though small, is friendly and accommodating to your every need. This place is all about making the guest feel comfortable while being on the road.

We had a pleasant stay and this place is highly recommended. Its clean and quiet, plus Mr. Young is very much accommodating with our luggage that we have to leave it to his hostel to go to Jeju Island. He speaks English so communication is no problem.

When I called the owner to let him know we would be arriving late, he texted me perfect directions and a map. He also ordered McDonalds delivery for us. Love this place and will be returning!

Good location, away from the hustle & bustle of the main stretch of Hongdae but close enough to reach by walking. Both airport bus & airport train are nearby. Room was clean. Basic facilities available. Staff was friendly & helpful. Stayed in the female dorm. Lockers were installed on my second day which was great to store little items & valuables. Thoughtful to provide clothes hangers. A little cramped though when all beds were taken up plus luggage. But generally comfy.

The guesthouse owner, is very helpful, informative and friendly. It is my favourite guesthouse so far and the best of all. Also not forgetting that his recommendation on places to visit and food are good choices. Keep it up! We will definitely come back to stay for sure.. Thank you for giving us such a cosy and comfortable stay and feels like home!

This is a great hostel, probably my new favorite place to stay in Seoul. The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful and speaks perfect English. I stayed in both a double room and a dorm room and they were both great. The location is very close to the Hongdae subway stop which is an excellent place to stay in Seoul. The guesthouse is quiet, clean and very comfortable and there is a free breakfast.

Very pleasant to stay at Seoulwise. :) Mr. Young is very kind and helpful. The location is very strategic, near the subway. The guesthouse's neighborhood is very quiet, nice, because after full day strolling around Seoul, a good night rest is what I needed the most. But if you want to find crowd at night, just across the main road and you'll find Hongdae crowds. Great! :D

I very much enjoyed staying at Seoulwise guesthouse. The staff is friendly and helpful. He gave us a very good tip on the new moon festival! The room was clean and warm (very important when it's freezing outside) and had lockers which you could use. The bathroom and shower were always very clean. I also very much enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. Sleeping + breakfast for 17 000won, I couldn't believe it! It's way too cheap for the service and facilities available!

Very clean and owner was extremely nice and helpful about where to go. He was also always available by leaving a phone with his cell number for anyone to call the few hours a day that he wasn't there. He also didn't "nickel and dime" is for things like towels and lock deposits. The only downside was the bathroom was extremely small with shower/toilet/sink in a small closet sized room. Overall I would recommend staying here.

The hostel is close to a metro station ( Hongjik University) It is a very good location because this station provides the Airport Express so that you do not need to change train. This direct expression goes to the airport ( or from the airport) in half an hour. The owner is very considerate; the map made by him on the net is very clearly made out; once you follow his instructions you have no problem finding the hostel.

Great stay. Perfect for people looking for a place to stay in Seoul who already know the area pretty well. Doesn't have much for atmosphere but the rooms are great. Definitely a great place!

Seoulwise Guesthouse was perfect for my friends and I. There were 3 of us but we payed for 4 beds in a private room so that we would have to room to ourselves. We had our own bathroom. There were four bunk beds. It was a 10 minute walk to Hongdae bar area. The hostel was VERY clean and had a cozy lobby and loung area. Its not a party hostel, but I liked that. I love to go out and drink and party, but when I come home to go to sleep its nice to know its going to be quiet. There was free breakfast.
