A nice hostel opposite the beach with a nice flair. But a bit outside of the town and from the bus terminal ... A taxi should not cost more than 15 R or you can catch a local bus for 2 R. If you go there, you should have a mosquito net with you. They bite awefully much there. A nice hostel opposite the beach with a nice flair. Nice location at the beach, but pretty far from bus station esp. with luggage. Ask for transfer. Excellent character, kind and helpful staff. Good hostel, with cool bar overlooking the beach across the road. Word of warning though, we were there in mid October and it rained heavily from the time we got there until we left. Not the hostel~s fault but when it rains there aint much to do. Also there was hardly anyone else around at this time so not too good for a party. These are not criticisms of what is a pretty damm good hostel though.Good hostel, with cool bar overlooking the beach across the road. More warning about the mosquitos would be appreciated as one of our party was severely bitten and it did colour her stay a bit. Other than that, liked the restaurant (although service was a bit inconsistent), enjoyed staying there very much - would recommend it. 10min walk from the old centre but I really liked its location across from the beach. The staff were really good and went so far as to pick me up from the bus station as it was raining! great location. Next to the beach. this place is half restaurant/bar, so u will never lack drinks and food there. Fantastic hostel! The location is very good, only 10m from the center and you are near a the beach. The facilities are very clean and fussy. The breakfast is very good, and they also sell cheap lunch and dinner. You can rent kayaks to use in the bay in front of the hostel (FANTASTIC), and the also have good bikes. Finally, for last but not the least, they have an amazing bar and the people are great! Thank u all! Ps: Wach the sun rise lying on the net bed...amazing...Fantastic hostel!
