The staff were very unprofessional and had no clue how to run a hostel. The place was a dump, we had to change rooms because of horrible smell. The rooms have no windows, looking at the carpet makes you itchy and the beds super hard. The only positive thing was the location but not worth the sleepless night in a lousy hostel.

There are signs the announce no smoking in the lobby and on each floor yet they still smoke even if there is someone like myself eating my take out at the bar because i didnt want to eat in my 4 bed dorm. having no working computer for guest to use or even a printer was a let down, until 1 of the the staff jeff lend me his laptop to send a few business emails. the toilet didnt really flush on the first day, which was poor. the washroom basin had mould residue all around the top of it,poor beddin

Quite possibly the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. Mattress was hard as a rock and you could feel the springs. Also it is incredibly loud there. We had trouble sleeping every night due to paper thin walls and doors. We even went out and bought sleeping pills to help. The staff is really nice and helpful and the hostel is about a 10-15 minute walk from The Bund.

Great spot, only a 10 minute walk from the Bund, another 10 from a subway stop. Only one bathroom to 6 bed dorm but cant complain, the staff were lovely (Be aware, its neighbour is a brothel!)

Hey, sorry for my late arrival back to the hostel, yeah, the location is good, on the forth floor, we have clear sight of the Pudong District and the TV tower, thx again for your comments.

Only 10 minutes away from the Bund and that amazing view. Room's are very good and the communal area is very relaxing. Staff are brilliant, big shout out to Jeff & the crew, helped me see the sights and delights of Shanghai. There's a handful of guests that have stayed there for a few months, get talking to everyone & they'll show you an amazing time, such as David who found it in his heart to make me bird's nest soup & sell me a 6RMB bottle of orange juice for 3RMB, what a hero! Love you guys!

Started off well, the guy At reception told us that we had been upgraded to a double ( great) and we paid up front, then when it came to check out a different receptionist tried to charge us another amount claiming we had only paidHalf the amount how ever after a 10 min dispute that was sorted and we paid no more, it's a cool place to chill although the lack of food ment even lazy days were spent in search of places to eat. It is with in a 10 min walk to the bund which is great !
