I never post comments, but really had to make the effort for this hostel. They are very friendly and do an excellent job of making sure you know how to get from place to place. Incredibly well-run and very inexpensive. It's a little hard to find at first, but make the extra effort. Great staff, clean comfortable rooms, and a very short walk to teh Forbidden City and good cheap restaurants. The only thing was that it was quite far from the metro so not very easily accessible to the rest of the city- I ended up paying 10RMB for a taxi to the metro. Cit walls is the best hostle I've ever stayed in. I wish i could pack it up in my rucksack and take it everywhere with me! The staff was extremely heplful and helped booking tickets and tours to other places. The hostel felt like a home away from home in the busy city of Beijing, good beds, good rooms, good food and good atmosphere. It's a bit hard to find, but in a very safe area and wel located. Absolutely lovely hostel! If you're planning to stay in Beijing, this is definitely the place to be, in the oldest and most picturesque part of the city. Every morning we had walked around with a views of many local people playing Pingpong and all kinds of exercises. Lovely courtyard . The staff of the hostel is awesome; if you ask some advice, you'll get a suggestion with whole day route, etc. Love to stay there again and recommend this for everyone!Absolutely lovely hostel!
