They offer a dinner menu which is not available and the pizzas are really expensive if we consider that is a frozen pizza which is cooked in the microwave/oven... You need to wait for 20 minutes because the same guy that is working on reception is the one that works on the kitchen! That was the problem when someone came into the hotel and my pizzas were more time in the oven than they should have been.. Actually one of the pizzas was really cold...

Security was poor, young people playing music loudly and running drunkenly between rooms.

Nice place to stay and cheap but is about a 20 minute walk outside of Galway city

Bit out of town. Walking distance but through a dodgy area so doesn't feel the safest after dark, definitely need a taxi back. We booked late so it was all that was reasonably available but would suggest even one of the hostels on eyre square a better option, better facilities, better location and the beds in travelodge not any better than bunks.

With this hotel you really do get what you pay for.The window in our room was broke and there was a loud whistling noise coming through all night.there was only one tiny heater/radiator in the room and it was freezing. The bed wasn't very secure and the mattress was very very soft.it really was a very basic hotel.i wouldn't recommend this hotel I you wanted a place to relax and unwind

Pointed us toward some great pubs downtown. Fun town in which to stay.

The Travel lodge is grand, We stayed on NYE when the price was of course driven up but that's everywhere in Galway. The room has everything you need and even provided a kettle and a few tea bags which were a nice touch. The staff were easy going and polite. Couldn't ask for more

Thank you for hospitability. Very nice hostel. I am personally very thankful to Russian-speaking receptionist! Very good service! Wish you all the best and lots of new tourists! Best regards from Siberia, Yan Myakota
