Cheap & central location, this hostel has an excellent social bar area -I met some very cool people here - nice as I am travelling alone. The managers, Richie and Martha, and are newly in post, have created an awesome atmosphere and would do anything for anyone. They really made an effort to make me feel comfortable and meet my needs. I found the hostel to be clean, comfortable and friendly. The owner, Yan, made sure to ask me to tell him if any problems. Loved it! Ideal for the Full Moon party!

These people didn't clean anything the entire time we were staying through the full moon party. The owner is terribly annoying, walking around yelling things for no reason and turning music whilst everyone is watching a movie. If you have no other option at full moon time take it over getting a place out of town but if you have a choice don't bother.

This is the worst hostel I've ever stayed at. The dorm room looks like a concentration camp. Literally big slabs of wood with mattresses and no barrier between the mattresses. The place is quite dirty and smells. The owner was very nice though and there is free coffee and tea. Its in a central location so if you are into Full Moon parties and just need a place to crash then it could be good. Otherwise, I recommend going somewhere else.
