The Rumi

The staff there I found were discriminatory, if you were from North America they treated you very differently than people from outside the continent. The staff also tried to put me in a mixed dorm with guys when I am a girl. The common area is just a kitchen table, no couch’s or anything. It’s someone’s house that they added bunk beds to and added rooms and called it a hostel. They also have signs up saying 20 mins max. The price wasn’t bad but this hostel needs improvement.

Location is crazy good with lots of malls, H-Marts, restaurants, and a Ralphs all around and within walking distance. Everything was clean and comfortable. Plenty of room. People were pretty respectful. Cameras are everywhere but security besides that is a little meh. Keycode doors are nice.

Hostel World app had a mistake for me--please double check your dates when booking because the app automatically made the date the soonest and I was booking for later. Unfortunately, I realized too late and my card was charged. The Rumi: I would like to see more plant-based vegan-friendly breakfast options. Pro: value is good for myself as a budget traveler, I chose shared female dorm. good outdoor seating furnishings. Con: No TV. Only 1 big indoor dining table.
