Welcome to Akki’s hostel!

Right by the beach (50m), I created this little peace of paradise. Your home, far away from home.

I have 2 Dorms (female & mixed), a garden, water refill, free wifi, & a nice seating area, for chilling together. We offer free Tea or Coffee in the morning, made by my mom, who is the best chef in the world. Love having Puppies and People here.

Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 12:00 to 23:00 .
Check out from 08:00 to 11:00 noon.
Payment upon arrival by cash only.
Taxes not included - occupancy tax 2.00 % per person per night
Breakfast not included.
No curfew.
We do not accept customers younger than 18 years of age.
Non smoking in the room. Smoking only outside
Pets are allowed on request.

Akki's Hostel i Trincomalee tilbyder en venlig, familieagtig atmosfære, perfekt for solorejsende og dem, der søger en afslappet stemning. Dens førsteklasses beliggenhed er kun få skridt fra stranden, med mange restauranter i nærheden. Gæster roser ofte det hjælpsomme og venlige personale, især Akki og hans familie. Selvom nogle værelser kan blive varme på grund af mangel på aircondition, er den samlede oplevelse meget positiv, hvilket gør det til et godt valg til prisen.

We booked four beds through Hostelworld. However, when we arrived, we found that all the beds had been given to other guests. We had to spend nearly two hours searching for another place to stay, which was very stressful. The owner did not honor our reservation made through Hostelworld and showed no concern about the situation. My advice is to be careful if you choose to stay at this hostel.

the room smelled mouldy, the bathroom wasn’t clean, there are one million mosquitoes which made it impossible to stay in the garden. the owner only came by to collect the money, didn’t care at all about having guests. the only good thing is that it’s to the beach
