Welcome to Akki’s hostel!

Right by the beach (50m), I created this little peace of paradise. Your home, far away from home.

I have 2 Dorms (female & mixed), a garden, water refill, free wifi, & a nice seating area, for chilling together. We offer free Tea or Coffee in the morning, made by my mom, who is the best chef in the world. Love having Puppies and People here.

Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 12:00 to 23:00 .
Check out from 08:00 to 11:00 noon.
Payment upon arrival by cash only.
Taxes not included - occupancy tax 2.00 % per person per night
Breakfast not included.
No curfew.
We do not accept customers younger than 18 years of age.
Non smoking in the room. Smoking only outside
Pets are allowed on request.

Akki's Hostel i Trincomalee tilbyr en vennlig, familieaktig atmosfære, perfekt for soloreisende og de som søker en avslappet stemning. Dens førsteklasses beliggenhet er bare noen få skritt fra stranden, med mange restauranter i nærheten. Gjestene roser ofte det hjelpsomme og vennlige personalet, spesielt Akki og hans familie. Selv om noen rom kan bli varme på grunn av mangel på aircondition, er den generelle opplevelsen svært positiv, noe som gjør det til et godt valg for prisen.

the room smelled mouldy, the bathroom wasn’t clean, there are one million mosquitoes which made it impossible to stay in the garden. the owner only came by to collect the money, didn’t care at all about having guests. the only good thing is that it’s to the beach

Akki’s hostel is lovely, perfect location just by the beach. The AC in female dorm worked 2 of my 3 nights. Akki and his mum are lovely, welcoming and kind.
