Welcome to Akki’s hostel!

Right by the beach (50m), I created this little peace of paradise. Your home, far away from home.

I have 2 Dorms (female & mixed), a garden, water refill, free wifi, & a nice seating area, for chilling together. We offer free Tea or Coffee in the morning, made by my mom, who is the best chef in the world. Love having Puppies and People here.

Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.
Check in from 12:00 to 23:00 .
Check out from 08:00 to 11:00 noon.
Payment upon arrival by cash only.
Taxes not included - occupancy tax 2.00 % per person per night
Breakfast not included.
No curfew.
We do not accept customers younger than 18 years of age.
Non smoking in the room. Smoking only outside
Pets are allowed on request.

Akki's Hostel in Trincomalee biedt een vriendelijke, familiale sfeer, perfect voor soloreizigers en wie een relaxte vibe zoekt. De locatie is top, op steenworp afstand van het strand en dichtbij vele restaurants. Gasten prijzen vaak het behulpzame en vriendelijke personeel, met name Akki en zijn familie. Hoewel sommige kamers warm kunnen zijn door gebrek aan airconditioning, is de algehele ervaring zeer positief en biedt het een goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding.

Really fun hostel with a back to basics vibe, only thing was that the toilet didn’t lock but we had a good time + they had the cutest dog 🤙🤙 perfect location

Ended up staying at Akki’s hostel for 5 nights, it was the perfect place to stay while in Trincomalee. Good vibes, great location, and a comfy bed :).

We booked four beds through Hostelworld. However, when we arrived, we found that all the beds had been given to other guests. We had to spend nearly two hours searching for another place to stay, which was very stressful. The owner did not honor our reservation made through Hostelworld and showed no concern about the situation. My advice is to be careful if you choose to stay at this hostel.
