Jurica Kezić: Pictorial Ground

Jurica Kezić’s exhibition offers a thoughtful look at his artistic journey, tracing nearly a century since his birth and seven decades since his first solo show. His early landscapes gradually gave way to more abstract interpretations, where earth becomes a canvas of memory and form. The paintings reveal layers and textures suggesting permanence and change, inviting you to explore subtle shifts in style. This retrospective brings together works spanning decades, offering a unique chance to engage with Kezić’s evolving vision. More than thirty years after his last solo exhibition, this show presents his art through a fresh, contemporary perspective. It offers a chance to reflect on how natural landscapes transform into complex visual narratives. Whether familiar with his work or seeing it for the first time, you’ll find moments encouraging quiet contemplation. The exhibition suits anyone interested in nature, memory, and abstraction, offering space to appreciate each brushstroke's depth.
