About

Gravitas Hostel is a streamlined modern hostel located in the heart of Split. Everything that Split has to offer is right next door, including UNESCO protected World Heritage zone. Our staff consists of experienced locals that will help you with everything you need, including making arrangements and providing essential information. The Hostel is entirely located on the ground level and has a direct street entrance.

Right around the corner there are multiple markets, café bars, restaurants, fast foods, bakeries, laundry service, ATMs, Bus stops and everything else you may need during your stay in Split. There are two large paid city parking zones in the close vicinity.

Gravitas Hostel itself features two large mixed dormitory rooms, large common room great for socializing and meeting new people, two sweet and always clean gender divided bathrooms.
We DO NOT have a kitchen, but we do have a refrigerator, microwave, grill toaster and an electric kettle. The hostel is also surrounded by many markets and food shops.

Perfect spot for Split, close enough to everything! 20mins to bus station, 10 to Diocletian's Palace, everything else in between! Staff were super friendly and helpful. Bed was great with curtain, shelf and plug. Drawers with lock were huge. Bathrooms were clean, although there are definitely not enough stalls for the amount of beds, so you could have a small wait. Would not put me off staying again!

Good hostel, great staff. Not that social as there isn’t much of a common area as it’s right in the old town, which has its strengths. Good value, the staff are lovely and super helpful, and the bathrooms and beds are great.

Great place, close to everything but still a quiet area. Both front desk girls were super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Social atmosphere was great, ending up making some good friends here. Bathrooms and showers were ALWAYS very clean and never had an issue or second thought about using them. Beds were comfy enough and all had curtains!! Storage lockers underneath beds were great too
