Property Description

Welcome to Adventure Q2 Hostel.

Catering to young independent travellers from around the world we offer mostly shared room accommodation and run in-house activities most nights a week to make it easy to meet new people from around the world.

Our beds are custom designed timber bunks with comfortable innerspring mattresses. The Village Green is right across the street to enjoy a drink in the sun, our common areas are large for a small hostel which allows plenty of room to engage with fellow travellers.

There is a tour desk where our friendly staff can help you plan your activities, as well as a separate storage/locker room with secure bicycle parking and ski & snowboard storage. We offer loads of free stuff and even a simple laundry service.

We’re a smaller hostel with a maximum capacity of just 55 beds – ideal for meeting new people and fun times.

Being right in the heart of town, you’re close to everything.

Designed and created by the owners of the multi award-winning Adventure Queenstown Hostel, we’ve taking our years of experience to build a hostel that is specifically designed for all a traveller needs.

Located in the very centre of Queenstown, you're a 2-3min walk to everything, including the Village Green just across the street.

As we are a small hostel, we do not accept groups of more than 6 people and we do not accept bookings for longer than 10 days. Multiple bookings will turned away.

Cancellations not made 48 hours prior to the booking or no-shows will incur additional charges equivalent to the first night's accommodation.

Reception is open 8am to 7pm. We are unable to accept check-ins after 7pm.

Check-in is available after 8am, however please note that beds/rooms will not be ready until after 2pm. We have storage facilities for the interim and common areas are free for use.

We do not allow minors under the age of 17 in shared rooms, with or without guardians. Families are welcome, but would be required to book an entire room.

Please note that we cannot always guarantee that guests from a group booking will be in the same room or any booking will be in the same room for the duration of the stay, though we will always try our best!

Really really great amenities with one big relaxed lounge/living room with big TV screen, sofas and 2 PC's. Also a very nice and equipped kitchen with several tables to dine and meet new people. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Rooms and bunk beds are just about the best I have came across and they even provide towel for shower. Awesome showers and restrooms too. 10/10

By far, the best hostel I have stayed in New Zealand. Price is fair, the stuff is great and will make sure you get everything you need, cool lounge, the location is the best in Queenstown. The rooms are great, the beds are comfy and clean and they got "where is wally pictures" in all the toilets which is pretty cool. The kitchen is big and there is also a balcony. If you are going to a hostel in Queenstown, go there and you won't be disappointed!

A really great hostel. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable and they offer a lot of things travelers would like. The rooms were quite nice. Though there were 6 people in my room, I felt I had some privacy when I drew the curtain (which only covers half the length of the bed - but enough). Only problem is that none of the roommates spoke with one another because we did get our privacy. That’s not a bad thing, because people were social in the common areas. The bathrooms are clean!!

Overall a good stay. It's a lovely hostel with great facilities. However, I was made to feel very uncomfortable and upset by one of the staff members. I had borrowed and left a deposit for 3 frizbees, but when I returned them first thing the next morning, the receptionist, for some reason, accused me of taking 5. She refused to return my deposits until she had spent 20 mins looking through CCTV to prove I wasn't lying, leaving me standing there awkwardly, then dismissed me with no apology.
