Felt like this building was originally built to be a hotel with its huge deep swimming pool and large rooms the location was perfect I would go back there again

We stayed at Masaya Santa Marta the night before our lost city trek. Although Santa Marta is a bit sketchy looking, this hostel was beautiful! A huge complex with multiple pools and a great/fun bartender. The private room was excellent value for money - with a great sized bed/room and clean and great smelling bathroom :) It was within a 5 minute walking distance of restaurants and our lost city trek's main office/pick-up point. Would recommend.

Probably my favourite hostel that I have stayed in with over 10 months of travelling South America. Really felt more like a hotel than a hostel and that was exactly what I was looking for. The facilities are amazing with a great setup on the rooftop for chilling out and having a couple of cocktails (absolutely delicious). Only comment is that you are unlikely to really meet people here but is amazing to come and chill out either on your own or with friends. Can't recommend enough.

My favorite hostel in Colombia! Friendly staff, great pools, and really clean dorms. We stayed in the 12 bed dorm and the room felt spacious and well ventilated. Each bed has its own fan and curtain. Thanks for a great stay!

Great hostel in a great location, close to the gold museum, beach and centre of town. Staff are really friendly. Taxi’s arrive quickly. Left luggage facility was really appreciated. They have shuttles going from hostel to Cartagena, I tried to organise going on one when I was not staying at the hostel - I don’t recommend doing that : after a phone call, and various confusing whatsapp conversations I arrived early morning to find my booking didn’t exist. No idea why it was so difficult.

A really nice hostel, perfect for a bit of luxury and relaxation after completing the Lost City Trek. The rooftop area is good and you have a lot of privacy in your bed with the curtain. More like a hotel than hostel. Would be hard to meet people if you were on your own but perfect if you just want to relax before travelling in/out of Santa Marta.

Basically like a hotel. Loved it here after a few heavy days of trekking in minca and tayrona. Initially was only staying for 1 night but booked for another before heading back to Cartagena as I enjoyed it so much. Breakfast was so yummy and so much variety!

Nice enough hostel, was going into it expecting this to be the best hostel I’ve ever been based on the reviews etc but it was good but not as high as I was expecting, pictures of the pool on the roof look better in pics than in person

Hostel was fine but not as nice as the Masaya in Santa Marta. I stayed in the 4 person dorm and it was tiny without a lot of space for bags and was probably the smallest room during my 2 week trip in Colombia. The highlight is the rooftop bar.
