Located right on the quietest and pretty Beach of Santa Marta (Cabo Tortuga) and close to Santa Marta´s airport, Playa del Ritmo is the only beachfront Hostel of Santa Marta, specially designed for travelers to experience the real Caribbean lifestyle!
We have an amazing Bar / Healthy Food Restaurant (With vegetarian and vegan Options) in front of the beach, where beers are always cold and good music is always playing.
In case you´re a good cook, we have a guest kitchen where you can cook whatever you want!
At Playa, backpackers from all over the world spend days chilling on the beach, playing volleyball and football, doing yoga, going diving, tanning and enjoying the most beautiful sunsets in the shade of our palm tree hut, listening to the best Caribbean tunes! And we have kayaks and paddleboards for guests.
Playa del Ritmo is the only BEACHFRONT Hostel where you can find dorms with Air Conditioning or Fan from 4 up to 6 persons with an amazing Sea View :)
Should the beach life become a bit too much hard work, you can easily go to Rodadero area (5 minutes by bus) or to Santa Marta’s downtown (15-20 minutes) where you can find supermarkets, cash points, shopping, restaurants, and nice bars… it´s also very easy to get to different attractions such as Tayrona, Minca, Lost City, Palomino, you just have to go to the reception for good travel advice...And we are just 5 minutes away from the Airport.
