Jacob's Inn is really a wonderful hostel in central Dublin, just behind the main bus station in the capital called in Irish BusAras and a stone´´ s throw ( or perhaps 2 stones :)))) from Connolly Station. It is the best hostel so far I have stayed in Dublin and the best one in Ireland. It does not have a kitchen for cooking yourself :(( but the rest is just perfect which is why I gave it a 10. Thanks to all staff from reception, to crew to kitchen/lounge staff for making my stay so wonderful

Would highly recommend this hostel. Staff friendly, approachable and very helpful. It is spotlessly clean here, the pods are comfortable and the shower was hot and easy to use. The location is fab! 5 minute walk to the city centre. It has a nice chilled out vibe with mixed ages. Will definitely be staying here again! Thank you!

Staff was so friendly and very helpful. We had to leave early in the morning so they even booked a taxi for us. We didn't have the breakfast in the morning but the cafe area seemed very warm and inviting. The rooms themselves had private pods and safe storage that you didn't have to pay for. We both felt very safe. Really great stay!

Beautiful designed hostel, one of the best I’ve stayed in. The pod beds are super cool & private with plugs & lights & privacy curtain, nice decent size en-suite. Very clean. Friendly helpful staff. Free WiFi. 5minute walk from centre, safe area. Free walking tour from hostel daily 10:20am. Safety lockers in rooms. Places to sit but not many people around to mix. Bar will only sell alcohol with food as no licence. Breakfast €5-9. Airport bus (747) stops at end of street. Free maps. Lifts.

    Fabulous

Great location, clean and quiet rooms with fully equipped pod style beds. Overall, the hostel feels more like a hotel and lacks that intimate vibe you get from smaller hostels. Wouldn’t recommend for solo travellers trying to meet people. There didnt seem to be any common areas except a few tables in the reception area. No kitchen and breakfast not included.

    Very Good

    06 Dec 2019
Overall it was fine. It was pretty loud in the evening and in the morning on the corridor. It is nice that every bed has two lights and two plugs. I think it is a little bit expensive for what you get but I think that’s the thing in Dublin. Rather would book a different hostel what’s more like a „real Hostel“ but it was not that bad. It’s more like a hotel.
