We believe that to travel, is to get social with new people, embrace epic experiences, and step outside your comfort zone. It’s to play hard, rest easy, and re-discover yourself. We created Wake Up! Byron so you could soak up the best parts of living in this part of the world. That we happen to be the Best Hostel in Oceania, is the cherry on top.

Had a great stay! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hostel was clean, and the atmosphere was relaxed and social, making it easy to meet other travellers. The location is great, right next to the beach, and the free shuttle into Byron Bay town centre is a really convenient bonus. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Byron Bay.
