En Route hostel is located only 5 minutes away from the city center and Bacvice Beach.
The bus station is right across the street, and Split port is 10 minutes walking distance.
The following amenities are right next to the hostel: supermarket, bakery, gym, coffee shop, pub, restaurant, bank, ATM, pharmacy, and a hair salon.

En Route hostel has a large common area perfect for meeting your fellow travelers, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. All of our rooms are newly designed, and our beds offer a high level of privacy with curtains, power outlets, and reading lights. Each room has its own air conditioning, lockers, free wi-fi, and an area with chairs and tables for hanging out.

Bed bug found!! Location is not far from old town but is in an old sports complex, I did not like the atmosphere. Not a social place at all. Many MANY older guest, especially 50+ men. Showers were not that clean and don’t drain well and have nowhere to hang your things. No hot water in the bathroom sinks. Kitchen needs a deep clean. You have to ask for a blanket or you will just get a sheet. Code lockers are secure but very noisy. Would not return.

They don't give you a blanket, only a sheet! There are only 2 functioning showers for all women in the hostel, neither locks or even closes fully. There are no hooks in the showers either. Overall cleanliness isn't great, trash cans were overflowing all the time. Beds had good curtains, good location (10 min walk from the old town), really small but good kitchen, big lockers. Overall good for a night or two, but wouldn't recommend for a longer stay.

As a solo female traveler who is not a fan of hostel due to comfort and privacy priority, I have to say En Route is pretty decent for the value. The private locker with code and the thick curtain plus the wide distance between beds really make a difference. It's a bit uphill and 20 mins walk to the city center but wasn't an issue for me. Recommend!
