JO&JOE Roma is a place open to all that combines the comfort of a hotel with the festive atmosphere of a youth hostel.

Close to the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon, it's the perfect place to explore the Italian capital. JO&JOE is also the perfect spot to drink great cocktails and enjoy Italian specialties, either in the inner courtyard with its fountain or in the restaurant.

Having stayed in 50+ hostels this is one of the worst for having a decent nights sleep. The mattresses are plastic and the sheets are not fitted so come off even well fully tucked under. In the heat (air conditioned temperature is controlled,) sleeping on plastic is awful - not to mention the noise when moving. If anyone moves it is so loud! They also don’t allow food from outside in the common seating space (despite it being large and away from the restaurant,) poor atmosphere and not social

The place is great in general. The breakfast for £10-12 is NOT. Too expensive for what it is. You’re better off getting breakfast outside the hostel. There’s plenty of places nearby that offer a far better selection at a much cheaper price. Just walk across the street.

Stayed as a solo traveller for two nights, location was excellent. 15 minute walk to the trevi fountain and 10 to the spanish steps. colesseum maybe 25/30 but doable. really nice courtyard to relax and escape the heat, rooms were perfect too.
