Mateo hostel is in the center of Lungomare in Himara (spile). About 20 m from the Ionian sea. A stylish hostel with a beautiful terrace and sea view!

The hostel is clean and offers shared accommodation 20 m from the sea. The main kitchen is fully equipped. The hostel also has a lovely balcony.

The positives - the location of the hostel and the views from the social area - amazing. Good value. The negatives - the dorm rooms were really small, and there was a lack of security over night, as anyone can come and go as the hostel doors were being left open overnight with no working CCTVs and everyone’s food got stolen. The manager, Chris was constantly telling off guests about how they were sitting in the social area & that it is not allowed to dry towels on chairs, in a beach hostel….
