About

Cafe Hostal Valladolid is a very relaxed place to stay. It is not luxurious at all but it is comfortable and makes You feel right at Home.

Cafe Hostal is managed by a single mom and 12-year-old son. It is also partnered with an Art shop named Experiencia Maya, where guests can learn about the Mayan culture and many aspects of the Yucatecan lifestyle.

Excellent host made us feel right at home! Right in the centre of town a couple minutes from the main square.

This is a very cozy and nice place to stay in Valladolid. The sweetest hostess, who will help with anything. The location is perfect and close to everything in the city. Not the place to meet other travellers but if you are a couple or looking for a break both this hostel and the city is perfect. We really enjoyed our stay:-)

The owner Rox is chatty & kind and welcomed us with loads of information on things to do and what not to do. This is her home, so you will see her son Oliver, nice kid, & her partner Rudolpho, also very friendly. The room was basic but clean and spacious. We shared a bathroom with the family which was fine - it was kept clean and tidy, the kitchen was at times pretty chaotic and dirty, but we managed. Not a place to meet other travellers. No real social space to speak of.
