Our hostel offers comfortable dorms and private rooms, fast WiFi, a shared kitchen, outdoor common areas, hammocks, and peaceful green spaces surrounded by nature. We also have an open-air grass area ideal for yoga, stretching, reading, or simply relaxing after a day of adventure.

La Fortuna is famous for its volcano, waterfalls, hot springs, wildlife, and outdoor activities. Our team is always happy to help you plan your trip and book the best local experiences, including volcano hikes, hanging bridges, waterfalls, hot springs, canyoning, rafting, coffee and chocolate tours, night walks, and much more. It was our first hostel expirence ever and alpha arenal hostel 100% exceeded our expectations for safety, cleanliness, staff, and everything. Staff was so kind and planned all our activies for an affordable price. We were nervous coming in but it had been an amazing experience and if we are ever to come back to La Fortuna this would be our go to place to stay again. We definitely recommend! Thank you alpha arenal hostel for such an amazing experience!!

Stayed at Alpha Arenal for a few nights while exploring La Fortuna. It’s an easy walk into town, but the neighborhood is quiet, which I appreciated after a long day out. Wilson was friendly and helped me sort out a couple of tours without any pressure. I also met some nice people over coffee in the morning. A relaxed place with everything I needed. I’d happily stay again.
