About

Holidays in and around Zug are anything but boring. If you like variety, you're in the right place! Viewing the Late Gothic buildings in Zug's old town from the Zytturm (clock tower) is just as exciting as a trip up the Zugerberg or an excursion to the fabulous subterranean world of the Höllgrotten Caves in Baar. You can make the most of the lake and hop into the water or onto a boat in summer. Zug Youth Hostel is also just a two-minute walk from the lake shore. Situated between the lake and the 'Herti' sports facilities, it's perfect for track and field athletics, curling, hockey and diving camps.

It is a little bit pricey but it is super nice and in a very good position. Lake beaches very near by walk/bike. In 15/20 minutes walk on the lakeside you can reach the city centre. Towels are not included in the price (+3 CHF)... But buffet breakfast included. I arrived outside reception opening hours, so I did self check in. Very close to the train station Schutzengel Zug.

Great hostel. I really like how they have lockers for your stuff in a room before the bedroom.
