Looking for a home away from home? That’s exactly what we are. A small, welcoming hostel designed for travelers who enjoy a laid-back atmosphere and good company. It’s easy to settle in, meet others and just feel good here — with a calm, relaxed vibe that lets you truly rest and recharge after a day in Split.

We’re located just 2 minutes from the beach and around 10 minutes from the Old Town, ferry port and main bus/train station — everything you need is within easy walking distance.

We regularly organize activities like free/tip-based walking tours, workshops, pub crawls and spontaneous hangouts, making it easy to explore Split and meet people — and if you want to go further, we’re always here to help you plan island hopping, party boats, national parks and more.

All dorms are air-conditioned, bright and comfortable, with curtains, reading lights, sockets and lockers for each bed. Fast, free WiFi is available throughout the hostel. There’s also a common room, balcony and a small kitchenette for basic use.

Please note: the hostel is located on the third floor and there is no elevator.

Payment is in cash upon arrival.
City tax: 2.65 EUR per person per night, not included (paid at check-in).

Please include your approximate arrival time when making your reservation.

Late check-in is possible only if arranged in advance — please contact us via email splitbackpackers2@gmail.com so we can send you self check-in instructions. The same applies if you arrive outside reception hours.

Free luggage storage is available before check-in and after check-out. Long-term storage is also possible.

Cancellation policy: Free cancellation up to 72 hours before arrival. In case of late cancellation or no-show, the first night will be charged.

Age restriction: The hostel vibe might not be the best for children under 18 or elderly people.

I had an amazing stay at this hostel! The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. I loved that there were activities almost every day, which made it easy to meet other travelers. Even though I came alone, I never felt lonely — it felt like I was traveling with a group of friends. I made great memories here and would definitely stay again. Highly recommended!

I enjoyed my one night stay. They also did my laundry for me for a fee and that was super helpful as I’ve been traveling for a few months. Had wonderful service and friendly atmosphere. They also coordinate events with their other hostel so there are opportunities to be social. My bed was comfy and bigger than most hostel beds. AC was controlled by the staff in each rooms. Comfy and quiet, just what I needed.
