Sometimes it's about the small things: The door to the room was super squeaky and could basically only be closed by slamming it. Also earplugs didn't help and could barely sleep. It would have been nice to mention beforehand that the laundry room can only be used between 5 and 10 pm. I specifically chose this hostel to do my laundry there. 7£ for dropping one bag for a few hours is ridiculous and should also be mentioned. Insufficient number of toilets. The one at my room couldn't even be locked

This hostel was fine - nothing fancy but sufficient. Small rooms for a 12 bed dorm and limited bathrooms and toilets for the number of people sharing them, the door was quite squeaky so woke you everytime someone came in/out. Privacy curtains, location, free towels were all positive from this. I wouldn’t recommend staying here if you are after a social hostel, no activities are run but is one street away from the main city centre.

Bad room with 12 people crammed into 4 triple bunk beds, with no clearance for the middle or bottom bunks above your head, which was the opposite of comfortable. The towel was like sandpaper. There was one toilet and two showers per 24 people. The toilet door didn’t even lock properly. The door was loud and squeaked every time it opened — have these jokers never heard of WD40? Terrible experience all round, the only good thing was that it was only two nights of it.
