I stayed in the basic 6-bed mixed dorm for 2 nights (convenient ensuite bathroom attached although I’m not sure that’s available for all 6-bed dorms). Very clean room/bath. As a young woman traveling solo, I felt safe staying here. Great location in central Glasgow with the train station within walking distance. Other reviews noted the nightclub below is very loud, but I fortunately didn’t hear it on the second floor. My only suggestion would be to add wall hooks to the rooms, add more shelving/hooks in the

*FEMALE SOLO TRAVELERS this hostel has safety concerns. Man broke into our room*** See google review as I can’t write out whole explanation. A man broke into our room at midnight and despite the hotel staff seeing it on the cameras did not come to check on us for minutes while he was in our female only room and did not offer any supports or compensation afterwards. Do not stay here.
