Makalu Lodge

Makalu is the best hostel I have ever been! The staff is very friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is cool, with a lot of other backpackers. The breakfast included is great! I been here for 3 weeks and I wanna stay longer because I really feel at home with those guys. Strongly recommend to everyone who is looking for a place to rest after trekking, and for those who wants to also party sometimes, bc there is a very nice bar right in the same street! :D

Booked a private room for my stay. Very cosy, lock on door, lots of storage and great nights sleep! Best eggs ever for breakfast! Big shout out to George as I forgot to order a sandwich for my hike and he went out of his way to make me one on the spot which saved me. He also checked up on me when I got sick and helped me with anything I needed. Had my laundry done, it came back same day smelling amazing. Cute Rooftop bar with lovely view, very sociable hostel. Lovely staff. Would stay again!
