Maui Hostels Tulum has an outdoor pool, garden, common lounge and terrace in Tulum. The hostel is 5.5 km from Tulum Archaeological Zone, a 16-minute walk from Bus Terminal and 4.8 km from Tulum Ruins Bus Terminal, close to SuperAki and we have transportation exclusive to our guest, booking your service at reception. The hostel offers a shared kitchen in the rooms. The rooms have free WiFi and a private bathroom with a shower. Some of the rooms are equipped with a patio. The area is ideal for snorkelling and cycling, and bike rentals are available at the hostel. There is a bar in the accommodation itself, and you can also use the business area. Tulum National Park is 5.6 km from the Maui, and Sian Ka'an Reserve is 14 km away. The nearest airport (Tulum International Airport) is 37 km from the accommodation.

I had a very disappointing stay at this hostel. When I arrived, I was told that if I paid by card, they would use their own conversion rate and add a 2.5% extra fee. This was never mentioned anywhere before arrival, so I immediately felt deceived. On top of that, the air conditioning in the room was not working, even though it was advertised as an air-conditioned room. In the hot and humid weather, it was extremely uncomfortable to sleep, especially since the room had several people in it. The staff were indifferent and unprofessional. When I checked in, one of the staff members was busy using some kind of glue gun and barely paid attention to me during the process. Overall, I felt unwelcome and ignored. I would not recommend this hostel. There are many better options nearby that actually deliver what they promise.
