We are an eco house hostel located in the heart of the Mayan world jungle. Saraguate eco hostel is our little oasis created to protect all kind of flora and fauna. Our eco house is built with re-used materials also using the ancient Mayan Technics, on the shores of the beautiful Lake Petén Itzá,

What a great place to come and relax and disconnect from all around we offer you an amazing experience to enjoy animals sights and bird sights, also enjoy the waters of our beautiful amazing lake Peten Itza. Have a full Peten experience all Mayan archeological around, come and enjoy this amazing beautiful and cleansing experience at Saraguate eco hostel.

Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

The most special place I’ve ever stayed. Not only because of the location by the beautiful lake, the place being one with nature, or the stunning house, but because of the people who created it. Patsy, Iván, the crew, and all the animals make you feel like your part of their family. Every detail reflects so much love and care. Saraguate is more than a hostel—it’s a second home to everyone. One of the nicest hostels I’ve ever stayed at! 😍 The location is beautiful , away from all the hustle and bustle, surrounded by nature and right by the water. The atmosphere is very calm and relaxed, and the (delicious!) family dinners make it feel really cozy and are a great way to easily meet other people. Evan and his mother are incredibly helpful and assisted me with everything, which made my trip so much easier. I highly recommend this place! 😊

Werkelijk fantastische plek. Een klein stuk van Flores af, maar hier wil je heel graag verblijven. Ivan is een fantastische host, fantastische vrijwilligers, je voelt je heel snel thuis. Prachtig mooi en schoon huis, aan het water. Fantastische mensen ontmoet tijdens de heerlijke familiediners. Aai de dieren voor mij! Grote aanrader.
