We are an eco house hostel located in the heart of the Mayan world jungle. Saraguate eco hostel is our little oasis created to protect all kind of flora and fauna. Our eco house is built with re-used materials also using the ancient Mayan Technics, on the shores of the beautiful Lake Petén Itzá,

What a great place to come and relax and disconnect from all around we offer you an amazing experience to enjoy animals sights and bird sights, also enjoy the waters of our beautiful amazing lake Peten Itza. Have a full Peten experience all Mayan archeological around, come and enjoy this amazing beautiful and cleansing experience at Saraguate eco hostel.

Saraguate eco hostel - Terms & Conditions:

Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Check in from 12:00 to 23:00 .
Check out before 11:00 .

Payment upon arrival by cash only.

This hostel is amazing! Definitely worth the extra (easy) travel from Flores. Easy colectivo or Ivan can help organise a taxi. You're in the jungle, by the lake, we saw lots of spider monkeys. Awesome place to chill and relax. Spent 4 nights here, could have been way more. The hostel has a few cats and 2 dogs. Special shout out to Princessa, one of the doggos, who followed us to the local town 2km walk away. She also recently had puppies which are gorgeous. Ivan was amazing. Super helpful.

We loved our time here. The hostel is absolutely magical. Chill atmosphere with friendly people and beautiful surroundings. I’d recommend to escape Flores - it’s a fun place to explore the nature and swim in the lake. We enjoyed the dinners socialising with guests and eating some good food. We were also very excited about seeing monkeys here :)
