We are an eco house hostel located in the heart of the Mayan world jungle. Saraguate eco hostel is our little oasis created to protect all kind of flora and fauna. Our eco house is built with re-used materials also using the ancient Mayan Technics, on the shores of the beautiful Lake Petén Itzá,

What a great place to come and relax and disconnect from all around we offer you an amazing experience to enjoy animals sights and bird sights, also enjoy the waters of our beautiful amazing lake Peten Itza. Have a full Peten experience all Mayan archeological around, come and enjoy this amazing beautiful and cleansing experience at Saraguate eco hostel.

Cancellation policy: 1 day before arrival. In case of a late cancellation or No Show, you will be charged the first night of your stay.

Check in from 12:00 to 23:00 .
Check out before 11:00 .

Payment upon arrival by cash only.

Ivan is so much willing to make you feel at home, help you with any request you have in your journey. Accepts payment with card no recharge!! The spaces are great and the staff very helpful. You will feel like being in the middle of the jungle while in the living room. Food is totally home made and with love, always local. The lake is very welcoming and clean. Monkeys visit everyday to shout for a while and the cars, motorbikes and trucks in the road can be a little bit noisy at times.

Saraguate is a hostel very chill and friendly to stay. They offers many services as food, laundry and transport to Tikal. The lake is basically at the hostel and I enjoyed so much swimming and training with rings

It was really amazing to stay there. You can relax, the lake is amazing (the temperature too) which you can access from the yard. They helped with everything we needed. They also provide breakfast, lunch and dinner. Had the best time ever.
